Your Brazilian Butt Lift Can Give You a World-Class Rear End

By Dr. Sato

Many of us work hard to attain our ideal body shape through diet and exercise. This especially holds true in the case of women. There is a saying that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, but these days, the idea of beauty has become more complex and therefore harder to attain without surgery. There is a standard of beauty that is set by our society and a great deal of women try their best to come close to it.

Many woman, young and old, single and married, mom or not, desire the “perfect body”. This idea of the “perfect body” is ever changing. Currently it is defined as an hourglass shape, a flat stomach, tiny waist, toned athletic legs, and a round full rear end with smooth skin.

According to popular belief, we can diet and squat our way into having a tiny waist and a fabulous round, perky booty. Unfortunately, this is not the case, but there is no need to worry because plastic surgery has the solution for you. With a Brazilian butt lift, you can finally achieve the buttocks and waistline that you have always wanted.

What Is a Brazilian Butt Lift?

A Brazilian butt lift is a surgical procedure designed to augment the shape and size of the buttocks using stubborn fat from your own body. It is the ideal solution for people who want to make dramatic improvements to the look and feel of their buttocks by harvesting fat from other areas of the body and transferring it to the buttocks and hip region.

This procedure can be used to give projection and a rounder shape to a flat, boxy buttock and also feminine curves to woman who do not have any hips.

The Procedure

The Brazilian butt lift is one of the most popular elective plastic surgery procedures today, but also has an increased risk of complications compared to other common plastic surgery procedures. It is important to find a Board Certified plastic surgeon that does a large number of this type of surgery and follows all the current safety guidelines for high volume fat transfer to the buttocks.

It’s important to note that not everyone is the same and the results attained by one person may not be the results you achieve. The procedure, however, can provide you with substantial improvements to your overall contour.

Prior to the procedure, you will be asked to refrain from nicotine use and avoid aspirin and NSAIDs such as Aleve or Ibuprofen as they can thin the blood and lead to increased bleeding during surgery and the immediate post-operative period.

The first step in a Brazilian butt lift is to harvest enough fat from your body so that it can be used to augment your rear end. The fat will be extracted using liposuction. Once the fat is removed, it will be purified and prepared for reinjection into the appropriate areas of the buttocks and hips.

Recovering from a Brazilian Butt Lift

Allowing the body the proper time to heal is important after undergoing a Brazilian butt lift. A complete recovery may take up to six months, but varies from person to person. Dr. Sato recommends taking two weeks off of work and avoiding pressure to the areas of fat transfer for ten days. You will wear a compression garment for 4-6 weeks.

It is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle and prevent significant changes in weight as it can affect the results of the surgery.
